Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Garin in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Danilo Galo ran back to his position shaking his head. Cayetano Jerold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. With a left leg Rodolfo Cloyo saved Larroude from getting behind. Hernan Rodriguez hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Dante Tebaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Cirilo Cordara made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Barrow's goalkeeper Cirilo Cordara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dante Tebaldo. Cirilo Cordara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eustacio Benvide showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. With a little luck, Barrow's Cirilo Cordara got control of the ball when Dante Tebaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Tebaldo in the 44th minute of play forced Barrow's goalkeeper Cirilo Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Tebaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Cirilo Cordara made a huge save. Hernan Rodriguez charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hernan Rodriguez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 49th minute Larroude were awarded a corner. Isaac Confesor went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Hermengildo Lazcano heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustacio Benvide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Danilo Galo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Cloyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Garin in the 56th minute of the match. The tension between the Barrow and the Larroude players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Danilo Galo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Danilo Galo came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Barrow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Galo couldn't finish the play. Larroude's Rodolfo Cloyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Larroude from getting a goal against them. If Mario Garin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
