Albino Mateus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Elia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Siro Perpinya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guatimozín AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arana the free kick. In the 35th minute, Pablo Musko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celso Elia kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Siro Perpinya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Cosme Amaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes, Guatimozín AFC's Ermegildo Benino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cosme Amaya came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guatimozín AFC reached it. In the 80th minute, Clemente Galo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 85 minutes, Pablo Musko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guatimozín AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Musko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ambrosio Lertxun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guatimozín AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Lertxun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Amaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Arana's Clemente Galo got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 94 minutes of play Guatimozín AFC's Siro Perpinya was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Siro Perpinya kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Guatimozín AFC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
