Leandro Hever blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulises Esquipula having to make a save. Leandro Hever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Hever in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulises Esquipula saved Dep Torroc from getting behind. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Leandro Hever sped through Dep Torroc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ulises Esquipula. 22 minutes into the game, Leandro Hever was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gimnasia y Tiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dep Torroc the free kick. 25 minutes into the game, Severo Ubarna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulises Esquipula. Severo Ubarna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Robustiano Sedeni hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ulises Esquipula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Hever who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Ulises Esquipula when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ulises Esquipula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Hever in the 42nd minute of play. Ulises Esquipula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Hever in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulises Esquipula prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Edwardo made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Teofilo Estavan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 64th minute Leandro Hever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Esquipula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gimnasia y Tiro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
