An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Raymundo in the 4th minute of play forced Sébila's goalkeeper Anier Luix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anier Luix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Raymundo in the 6th minute of play. If Alejo Breogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 minutes, Robustiano Cordero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arana and the Sébila players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sébila booed when Arana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Cordero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inocencio Raymundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Luix having to interfere. The Arana fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Arana's Celso Elia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sébila were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Arana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Horacio Galtero took the corner. The corner led Sébila's Horacio Galtero to fire away a dangerous shot which Cosme Amaya despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, German Cerilo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sébila the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arana fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! 43 minutes into the game, Arana's Inocencio Raymundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anier Luix made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celso Elia to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sébila's goalkeeper Anier Luix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anier Luix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Elia in the 64th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Sébila got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Breogan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Raymundo got free with Anier Luix in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sébila's Anier Luix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Elia in the 71st minute of play. Anier Luix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Elia in the 73rd minute of the match. When Inocencio Raymundo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Arana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Raymundo couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute Alejo Breogan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Amaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Arana's Celso Elia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anier Luix narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Arana getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Robustiano Cordero hit a great ball. Alejo Breogan struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Cosme Amaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sébila.
