Spectators: 6188 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1688, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dario Garoa started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Leandro Hever made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sébila's Anier Luix tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 13 played minutes Gimnasia y Tiro got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Hever. A collision led to Sébila getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Anselmo Remicio hit a great ball. Anier Luix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Hever in the 20th minute of play. Leandro Hever recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anier Luix came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Gimnasia y Tiro's Leandro Hever. But to his dismay, Leandro Hever quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 43 minutes, Dario Garoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sébila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Garoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severo Ubarna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Luix having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Hever to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Leandro Hever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gimnasia y Tiro's Teofilo Estavan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Garoa in the 52nd minute of play. Teofilo Estavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Garoa in the 54th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Leandro Hever's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Luix was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Dario Garoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Teofilo Estavan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Severo Ubarna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gimnasia y Tiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Anier Luix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Fausto Rosalio lost his temper 79 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Gimnasia y Tiro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sébila:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Leandro Hever managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gimnasia y Tiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Hever was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Luix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Gimnasia y Tiro fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Gimnasia y Tiro's Leandro Hever looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Gimnasia y Tiro's zone, Alejo Breogan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Estavan came out of the goal and Alejo Breogan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leandro Hever scored 6-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anier Luix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Leandro Hever came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Gimnasia y Tiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Hever couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Gimnasia y Tiro booed when Sébila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Arnas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
