Spectators: 6183 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 0) Marfady FC's Marcelino Escobar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Severo Ubarna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. Pascual Llorienzo made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Leandro Hever sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y Tiro's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Escobar came free, but Teofilo Estavan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teofilo Estavan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Hever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Marcelino Escobar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Marfady FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Ubarna came free, but Pascual Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoriano Quico during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Marfady FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Quico to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Bernardo Xabier put in a rough tackle. 22 minutes into the game, one of Marfady FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 27 played minutes Marfady FC got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Ruy. Marfady FC's Pascual Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Hever in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Marfady FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Quico to maneuver through the defense. When Severo Ubarna came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Gimnasia y Tiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Ubarna couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Marfady FC's zone, Leandro Hever stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascual Llorienzo came out of the goal and Leandro Hever tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leandro Hever might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pascual Llorienzo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Hever ran back to his position shaking his head. Leandro Hever received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pascual Llorienzo came out and tried to block the shot, but Leandro Hever slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 39th minute. Severo Ubarna did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Pascual Llorienzo 48 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Hever to make the kick off. Pascual Llorienzo came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Gimnasia y Tiro's Severo Ubarna. But to his dismay, Severo Ubarna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 61 minutes into the game, Pablo Policarpio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marfady FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gimnasia y Tiro the free kick. In the 71st minute Leandro Hever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Llorienzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Gimnasia y Tiro getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Sergio Bladi hit a great ball. When Gimnasia y Tiro's Leandro Hever in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marfady FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 78th minute, Severo Ubarna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gimnasia y Tiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Gualterio Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When Gimnasia y Tiro's Leandro Hever in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 87thth minute of the game Leandro Hever who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marfady FC's Pascual Llorienzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 88 played minutes Gimnasia y Tiro got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Bernat. Pascual Llorienzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Hever's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Teofilo Estavan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualterio Ruy in the 95th minute. Gimnasia y Tiro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
