The tension between the Excursionistas and the Los de Siempre f.c. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Excursionistas getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Manuel Otsoko hit a great ball. Jeronimo Paez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Oskarbi might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Ubendu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugenio Oskarbi ran back to his position shaking his head. If Anacleto Joachim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Joachim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Sayveon having to interfere. After 48 played minutes Excursionistas got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Matro. In the 50th match minute, Los de Siempre f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Etor to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeronimo Paez was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Excursionistas's zone, Eugenio Oskarbi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Ubendu came out of the goal and Eugenio Oskarbi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidro Sayveon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Joachim, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Rodrigo Ubendu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Paez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Los de Siempre f.c. booed when Excursionistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Laurgain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Oskarbi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Ubendu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Anacleto Joachim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Sayveon having to interfere. Nestor Unai struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Isidro Sayveon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Excursionistas. Eugenio Oskarbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Excursionistas's Rodrigo Ubendu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Paez in the 90th minute of play. Sergio Matro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeronimo Paez succeeded in the game's 99th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Los de Siempre f.c.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
