Daniel Rius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Ubendu having to interfere. Anacleto Joachim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 played minutes Excursionistas got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Matro. Maximino Nalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 played minutes Dep Torroc got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Asier. Nestor Unai struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ulises Esquipula didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Excursionistas. 30 minutes into the match, Anacleto Joachim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulises Esquipula. Dep Torroc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anacleto Joachim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Nestor Unai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Esquipula having to interfere. Nestor Unai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Robustiano Sedeni fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dep Torroc's protests and gave Robustiano Sedeni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th match minute, Dep Torroc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Sedeni to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Excursionistas were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anacleto Joachim made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Eustaquio Gonzo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulises Esquipula skillfully saved the ball. Ulises Esquipula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Joachim in the 73rd minute of the match. Robustiano Sedeni hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Nestor Unais short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Ulises Esquipula to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 91 minutes, Anacleto Joachim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Excursionistas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Joachim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nestor Unai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nestor Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Excursionistas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dep Torroc throughout the match.
