In the 17th minute, Freddy Alfonso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Americo Gabrio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Chacras FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Florencio Montrelle hit a great ball. If Tiburcio Gonsalvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domingos Quico's late challenge caught a Chacras FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Quico helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Soldevilla FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Domingos Quico hit a great ball. Higinio Brais hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Soldevilla FC's Tiburcio Gonsalvo got a free kick in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipolito Eguerdi got free with Angelino Nardo in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Americo Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Daunte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Claris in the 47th minute of play forced Chacras FC's goalkeeper Angelino Nardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When Hipolito Eguerdi came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Soldevilla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Eguerdi couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Tano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Americo Gabrio having to make a save. With his leg Americo Gabrio managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Chacras FC's Nestor Arnau fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Domingos Quico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Victor Claris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
