Anastasio Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Miliano in the 15th minute of play. Aureliano Gutierrez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximino Jakue came out and tried to block the shot, but Aureliano Gutierrez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. Federico Bonadona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Federico Bonadona managed to get in a good position for a shot. FIRST FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Bonadona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Sauveur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 41 played minutes BUENOS AIRES F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Federico Olayo. Federico Olayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Maximino Jakue made a huge save. After some careless play in the BUENOS AIRES F. C. defense, Donato Miliano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anastasio Sauveur. The BUENOS AIRES F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anastasio Sauveur should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Miliano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maximino Jakue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Salomone, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, FIRST FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Salomone came free, but Maximino Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Celestino Salomone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Maximino Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Bonadona struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Anastasio Sauveur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FIRST FC. After a defensive mix-up in FIRST FC's zone, Celestino Salomone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Jakue came out of the goal and Celestino Salomone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, BUENOS AIRES F. C.'s goalkeeper Anastasio Sauveur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Bonadona. After 85 minutes, Federico Olayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BUENOS AIRES F. C. and the FIRST FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Federico Bonadona managed to get in a good position for a shot. FIRST FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Bonadona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. FIRST FC's Maximino Jakue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Fidele in the 94th minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, BUENOS AIRES F. C.'s Angelino Camerino tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BUENOS AIRES F. C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while FIRST FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
