Conrado Eguerdi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Cayetano Macerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL REJUNTE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Macerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alejandro Orlandus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Macerio in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club AyD Roma's zone, Adriana Gartzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Orlandus came out of the goal and Adriana Gartzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cayetano Macerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Club AyD Roma getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Osvaldo Demario hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match it was 2-0 when Efrain Oskarbi shot a long shot which zipped by Club AyD Roma's goalkeeper at the right pole. Alejandro Orlandus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Macerio in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Cayetano Macerio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alejandro Orlandus, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriana Gartzi got free with Alejandro Orlandus in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. EL REJUNTE FC's Adriana Gartzi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Adriana Gartzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Alejandro Orlandus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cayetano Macerio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Orlandus came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by EL REJUNTE FC's Cayetano Macerio. But to his dismay, Cayetano Macerio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Osvaldo Demario charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvaldo Demario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Club AyD Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Demario to maneuver through the defense. Club AyD Roma's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Pacorro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Curcio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cayetano Macerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Orlandus having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Macerio in the 81st minute of play forced Club AyD Roma's goalkeeper Alejandro Orlandus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club AyD Roma's goalkeeper Alejandro Orlandus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adriana Gartzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. After 97 played minutes EL REJUNTE FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Montay. EL REJUNTE FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
