The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Efrain Telmo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Giro having to make a save. Maximino Astrada scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelino Curcio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th match minute, Monte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Roldan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriana Gartzi in the 21st minute of play forced Monte FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Giro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Giro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriana Gartzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Monte FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Fausto Vistruario hit a great ball. Benjamin Giro was a little too slow when Adriana Gartzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-1. Angelino Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Astrada in the 33rd minute of play. If Adriana Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Efrain Telmo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the EL REJUNTE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Telmo couldn't finish the play. Benjamin Giro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriana Gartzi in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriana Gartzi in the 44th minute of play forced Monte FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Giro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Astrada in the 45th minute of play forced EL REJUNTE FC's goalkeeper Angelino Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Arnulfo Jordy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Jordy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnulfo Jordy made a kick off. When Maximino Astrada came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Monte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Astrada couldn't finish the play. Efrain Telmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Benjamin Giro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efrain Telmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Adriana Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efrain Telmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Giro having to interfere. The supporters of EL REJUNTE FC booed when Monte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Uzuri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriana Gartzi succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Adriana Gartzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the game, EL REJUNTE FC's Efrain Telmo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Giro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Monte FC's Bernabe Roldan got a free kick in the 79th minute. Maximino Astrada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Angelino Curcio made a huge save. EL REJUNTE FC's Adriana Gartzi got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Efrain Telmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Giro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriana Gartzi in the 90th minute of play. Arnulfo Jordy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. EL REJUNTE FC fully deserved thier win.
