With a left leg Benjamin Giro saved Monte FC from getting behind. Alejandro Orlandus was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Prudencio Jaunti. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Casado in the 30th minute of play forced Monte FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Giro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Club AyD Roma's goalkeeper Alejandro Orlandus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Astrada. Alejandro Orlandus came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Monte FC's Maximino Astrada. But to his dismay, Maximino Astrada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Joel Pacorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Benjamin Giro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernabe Roldan charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernabe Roldan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Monte FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club AyD Roma:s goal. The referee gave Club AyD Roma a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alonzo Leguizamón, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Monte FC's Benjamin Giro. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleto Casado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Monte FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Godfredo Kemen hit a great ball. Monte FC's Benjamin Giro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Monte FC from getting a goal against them. Benjamin Giro made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Joel Pacorro sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Casado in the 59th minute of play forced Monte FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Giro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Fausto Vistruario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club AyD Roma the free kick. After 72 minutes of play Monte FC's Fausto Vistruario was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 72nd match minute, Monte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Vistruario to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Alonzo Leguizamón sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Monte FC's Benjamin Giro didn't even have to move. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Monte FC's Benjamin Giro to catch but Alonzo Leguizamón was lucky. It became 3-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After a rather tough play, Club AyD Roma's Cleto Casado got a free kick in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
