Apostadores jr's Arnaldo Betadur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Apostadores jr from getting a goal against them. Evelio Leocadio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Johans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Apostadores jr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Libertad to maneuver through the defense. When Ciro Hernando fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Ciro Hernando hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Victoriano Selatse sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jocolí FC's Samuel Johans didn't even have to move. Evelio Leocadio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Johans having to interfere. Samuel Johans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Timo in the 40th minute of play. Hipolito Gabino in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnaldo Betadur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Amancio Jerano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 45 minutes into the match, Jocolí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Leocadio came free, but Samuel Johans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Evelio Leocadio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Johans having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Arsenio Timo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Johans was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 97 minutes into the match, Apostadores jr's Arsenio Timo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Johans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arsenio Timo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Johans having to make a save.
