In the 16th minute, Maximiliano Dolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorato Igon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Dolfo in the 21st minute of play forced Atletico Rafaela's goalkeeper Ovidio Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Urti kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Maximiliano Dolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Vasco having to interfere. After 29th play minutes Honorato Igon shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Ovidio Vasco and just under the crossbar into goal. Efrain Efraim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Urti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 37 minutes, Lorenzo Blasi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Rafaela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Blasi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Siro Urti took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Efrain Efraim to make any attempt to save it. After 59 minutes, Roberto Meder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Cristal FC and the Atletico Rafaela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 minutes of play, Atletico Rafaela's Lorenzo Blasi made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efrain Efraim was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the match, Atletico Rafaela's goalkeeper Ovidio Vasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Dolfo. Basilio Gorbea charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A collision led to Atletico Rafaela getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Justino Jurdan hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Cristal FC's zone, Lorenzo Blasi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Efraim came out of the goal and Lorenzo Blasi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atletico Rafaela fully deserved thier win.
