But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Cibran couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelino Fidencio during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Angelino Fidencio kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. San Eduardo's Marciano Lucian got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorino Igon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ciriaco Azeari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marciano Lucian came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the San Eduardo fans jumped to their feet. Ciriaco Azeari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Igon in the 20th minute of play. The San Eduardo fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when San Eduardo's Victorino Igon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 26 minutes, Marciano Lucian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Eduardo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Lucian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciriaco Azeari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Lucian, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Marciano Lucian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ciriaco Azeari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeus's Ciriaco Azeari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Lucian in the 39th minute of play. If Marciano Lucian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Nicanor Eutropio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Kelemen having to interfere. Silvio Kelemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Eutropio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When Zeus's Edgard Cibran in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Eduardo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rd match minute, San Eduardo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Sanchez to maneuver through the defense. If Edgard Cibran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Nicanor Eutropio sped through San Eduardo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvio Kelemen. After 73 minutes of play, Zeus's Nicanor Eutropio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvio Kelemen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute Victorino Igon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Azeari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Zeus's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Igon came free, but Ciriaco Azeari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zeus's Teodoro Herrera got a free kick in the 78th minute. Angelino Fidencio was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Zeus getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Angelino Fidencio hit a great ball. Victorino Igon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
