Agustoni AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Jose Bela scored to the left of an out of position Benedicto Basualdo, making the score, 1-0. Joaquin Rufio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Benedicto Basualdo made a huge save. Jose Bela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Tomas Vermudo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agustoni AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Arco C.D. Villa Gesell the free kick. The supporters of El Arco C.D. Villa Gesell booed when Agustoni AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Vermudo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Jose Bela reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benedicto Basualdo. The goal made the score 2-0. Benedicto Basualdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Bela in the 36th minute of play. In the 41st minute, El Arco C.D. Villa Gesell's Jose Bela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benedicto Basualdo. Benedicto Basualdo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Jose Bela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Jose Bela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Basualdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Agustoni AFC's goalkeeper Benedicto Basualdo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th minute Adrian Palben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustoni AFC's Benedicto Basualdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Bela in the 62nd minute of play. When Astor Suarez fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Arco C.D. Villa Gesell's protests and gave Astor Suarez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Agustoni AFC booed when El Arco C.D. The Benedicto Basualdo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to El Arco C.D. Villa Gesell getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Domingo Basualdo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in El Arco C.D. Villa Gesell's zone, Diego Txema stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Gaitan came out of the goal and Diego Txema tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Agustoni AFC's Adrian Palben in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Arco C.D. Villa Gesell's goalie prevented a goal. Jose Bela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Agustoni AFC's Diego Txema got a free kick in the 87th minute. Benedicto Basualdo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Rufio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Jose Bela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Basualdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Arco C.D. Villa Gesell walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
