The crowd rose to their feet as Ricardo Arlo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Mino. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Santo Evangelio's Dante Mino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Arlo in the 23rd minute of play. Excelxion's Ermegildo Formerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Normando in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match, Ricardo Arlo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Mino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ricardo Arlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Dante Mino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Arlo made a kick off. If Elias Loiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Mino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Millan, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Elias Loiola struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ermegildo Formerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santo Evangelio. In the 68th match minute, Excelxion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Celipe to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Santo Evangelio's zone, Fausto Millan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Mino came out of the goal and Fausto Millan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Fausto Millan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Excelxion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Millan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Mino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Arlo in the 84th minute of play. Fausto Millan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elias Loiola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ermegildo Formerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Millan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Mino having to interfere.
