Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benigno Abilio started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Corolina's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Veronica came free, but Leo Gimenez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Benigno Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Corolina's zone, Alfredo Veronica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Gimenez came out of the goal and Alfredo Veronica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Jonatan Felipillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the game, Jonatan Felipillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corolina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Wamyc the free kick. After a rather tough play, Corolina's Jonatan Felipillo got a free kick in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Club Atletico Wamyc's Lázaro Lapurdi got control of the ball when Santo Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 14 played minutes Club Atletico Wamyc got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Ederono. Leo Gimenez came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Wamyc's Benigno Abilio. But to his dismay, Benigno Abilio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 26th minute, Alfredo Veronica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Wamyc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Benigno Abilio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Corolina defense, Benigno Abilio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Gimenez. The Corolina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Gimenez should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Alfredo Veronica made a precise shot to the right of Leo Gimenez. Corolina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. If Alfredo Veronica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Alfredo Veronica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Wamyc's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Veronica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Gimenez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Corolina's Jacinto Gervaso got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Chano in the 52nd minute of play forced Corolina's goalkeeper Leo Gimenez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corolina's Leo Gimenez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Corolina from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Silvio Ederono fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ignacio Sengrat kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Benigno Abilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benigno Abilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Leo Gimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corolina's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alfredo Veronica 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. If Martin Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelino Atarratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Veronica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Leo Gimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Wamyc's Amadeo Soter got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 93rd minute, Alfredo Veronica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Gimenez having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Club Atletico Wamyc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Corolina.
