Uspallata's Virgilio Dubardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Lizbeth in the 14th minute of play. Froilan Kaiet scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgilio Dubardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Géminis AC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Paulo Urbes 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Virgilio Dubardo came out of the goal and Federico Lizbeth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Froilan Kaiet took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Dubardo. Virgilio Dubardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Delmiro Gonsalvo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Géminis AC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uspallata:s goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Froilan Kaiet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guido Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Maore having to interfere. The supporters of Uspallata booed when Géminis AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Ur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Illart's late challenge caught a Géminis AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
