Paolo Urbasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Edur having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Beazley got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Henry. 10 minutes into the match, Elite FC's Paolo Urbasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celedonio Edur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paolo Urbasa hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Elias Loreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Celedonio Edur made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, Uriel Indartsu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Elite FC's Basilio Su. Basilio Su was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th minute Uriel Indartsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Su saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Urbasa got free with Celedonio Edur in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Rico hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Basilio Su made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Vivero in the 44th minute of play. If Paolo Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Beazley were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Vivero was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Elite FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Paolo Urbasa hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Elite FC's zone, Juan Vivero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Su came out of the goal and Juan Vivero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Elite FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Luis Lehen hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Beazley's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Urbasa came free, but Celedonio Edur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 played minutes Elite FC got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Urbasa. In the 70th match minute, Beazley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Santos to maneuver through the defense. Basilio Su took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Vivero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Paolo Urbasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Edur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Urbasa in the 78th minute of play forced Beazley's goalkeeper Celedonio Edur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Vivero might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basilio Su. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Vivero ran back to his position shaking his head. Uriel Indartsu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basilio Su having to make a save. If Eugenio Ioritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celedonio Edur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Urbasa in the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over Beazley could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Elite FC throughout the match.
