Corolina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Oliviero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Melchor Oliviero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Konoha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Oliviero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Gimenez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorio Iztal took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Gimenez. Leo Gimenez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 32ndth minute of the game Melchor Oliviero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corolina's Leo Gimenez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Konoha FC's zone, Marcelino Atarratze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Esdras came out of the goal and Marcelino Atarratze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Melchor Oliviero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Gimenez was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Corolina's Maximino Patrido got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Leo Gimenez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melchor Oliviero went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melchor Oliviero to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Leo Gimenez managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Konoha FC's Melchor Oliviero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 84 minutes into the game, one of Corolina:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Melchor Oliviero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Leo Gimenez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Melchor Oliviero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melchor Oliviero succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-10 in the 98th playminute.
