With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melchor Oliviero in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Gimenez saved Corolina from getting behind. Melchor Oliviero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Marcelino Atarratze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Angelino Esdras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Corolina's Marcelino Atarratze got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Oliviero got free with Leo Gimenez in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Fabricio Sotero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Duarte in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Corolina's goalkeeper Leo Gimenez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melchor Oliviero. Konoha FC's Jorge Ponce was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leo Gimenez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marcelino Atarratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Angelino Esdras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Atarratze in the 45th minute of play forced Konoha FC's goalkeeper Angelino Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Konoha FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Corolina were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melchor Oliviero to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Konoha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Sotero came free, but Angelino Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Oliviero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Gimenez having to interfere. Leo Gimenez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchor Oliviero succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Melchor Oliviero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Konoha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Oliviero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Gimenez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leo Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Suero in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Corolina booed when Konoha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, one of Konoha FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Konoha FC. After 84 minutes, Melchor Oliviero made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Corolina's Leo Gimenez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Leo Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Oliviero in the 97th minute of play.
