Ambrosio Tajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Lertxun having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Mercedes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Birjaio to maneuver through the defense. Santo Birjaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Eliseo Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Santo Birjaio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliseo Lertxun. Bazzinga! FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santo Birjaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Maximino Eufrasio fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mercedes FC's protests and gave Maximino Eufrasio a yellow card for diving instead. Arsenio Abascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Benicio Oalo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Santo Birjaio came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Mercedes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Birjaio couldn't finish the play. Eliseo Lertxun came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Mercedes FC's Ambrosio Tajo. But to his dismay, Ambrosio Tajo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Mercedes FC's Mauro Caitano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Mercedes FC from getting a goal against them. Arsenio Abascal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ambrosio Tajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Bazzinga! FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Birjaio came free, but Eliseo Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bazzinga! FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Lertxun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benicio Oalo struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Mauro Caitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bazzinga! FC. Santo Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
