The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorio Asier during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Zeledon Fernanco came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the PabloFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Fernanco couldn't finish the play. Zeledon Fernanco kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Flavio Oier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Ondino having to interfere. Tiburcio Ondino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Markel, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Miguel Gizon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. PabloFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Miguel Gizon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Llorienzo having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Chañar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Asier to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Chañar AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Oier to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of PabloFC booed when Chañar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Etxatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiburcio Ondino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Markel in the 59th minute. Guido Markel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Flavio Oier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chañar AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Oier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiburcio Ondino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Markel in the 67th minute. If Guido Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Oier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Ondino having to interfere. Chañar AFC's Guido Markel got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute Zeledon Fernanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Llorienzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Guido Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Miguel Gizon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Chañar AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
