To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Siro Jesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Marcelino Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the POKER defense, Siro Jesco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelino Herena. The POKER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelino Herena should have stopped the shot. 48 minutes into the match, POKER's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Steven came free, but Marcelino Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The Estudioso FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
