David Oriol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Olivar having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Dúrham FC's Teobaldo Semeno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucio Olivar. Lucio Olivar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Dúrham FC's Godfredo Maidana got a free kick in the 35th minute. Cleto Txaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Quirce, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With a little luck, mauro fc's Lucio Olivar got control of the ball when David Oriol tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 played minutes mauro fc got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Stanislao. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Teobaldo Semeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dúrham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Semeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Olivar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Crescencio was the one to do the kick off.
