Pigüé's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Epifanio Demesio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Carmelo Darien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Nel, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Herminio Nel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carmelo Darien was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Herminio Nel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Darien having to interfere. Herminio Nel scored 2-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carmelo Darien, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Luján FC's Israel Mateo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Saul Ignazio. That made the score 3-3 after 45 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanio Demesio was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Epifanio Demesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pigüé's Herminio Nel in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Luján FC's goalie prevented a goal. Herminio Nels short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Carmelo Darien to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bernabe Benet struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Carmelo Darien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pigüé. Carmelo Darien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Nel in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Epifanio Demesio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luján FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Herminio Nel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Carmelo Darien skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Bernabe Benet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pigüé's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe Benet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmelo Darien breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Herminio Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Ongile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Darien having to interfere. A hard shot 86 in the game by Herminio Nel from a close distance when the talented Carmelo Darien managed to make a qualified save. Luján FC's players were relieved. Herminio Nel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pigüé's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Luján FC had won, even though Pigüé had held more of the ball.
