Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Edgardo Cai started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tobias Mero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Cai in the 3rd minute of play. Tobias Mero came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Tacuarendí's Edgardo Cai. But to his dismay, Edgardo Cai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Edgardo Cai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Mero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elvio Incendio went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Guascan's Cristian Ospetsu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Koldo. That made the score 1-2 after 15 minutes of play. Cristian Ospetsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Koldo having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Edgardo Cai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Elvio Incendio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliciano Valiente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Raymon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tobias Mero came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Tacuarendí's Edgardo Cai. But to his dismay, Edgardo Cai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The supporters of Tacuarendí booed when Guascan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Bero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guascan's goalkeeper Tobias Mero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tobias Mero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Cai in the 39th minute of the match. Feliciano Valiente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Feliciano Valiente made the kick off in the second half. Edgardo Cai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Mero having to interfere. In the 57th minute of the game, Feliciano Valiente landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Aldo Berart's late challenge caught a Guascan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Berart helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tacuarendí fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Guascan. Denis Munio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dante Koldo. 2-3. If Elvio Incendio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgardo Cai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Tobias Mero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Munio hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Cristian Ospetsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guascan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Ospetsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute Cristian Ospetsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Koldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Edgardo Cai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elvio Incendio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Mero having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Tacuarendí's Edgardo Cai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Mero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Guascan's goalkeeper Tobias Mero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvio Incendio. Tacuarendí's Arsenio Gasteiz got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Guascan's zone, Edgardo Cai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Mero came out of the goal and Edgardo Cai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonzalo Dominix's late challenge caught a Tacuarendí's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzalo Dominix helped the player get up and apologised. Guascan's Tobias Mero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Cai in the 101st minute of play. When the match was over Tacuarendí could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guascan throughout the match.
