If Emanuel Bero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nunez Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Mero having to interfere. Tobias Mero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Matthew in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Tauro in the 27th minute of play forced Guascan's goalkeeper Tobias Mero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guascan's Feliciano Valiente got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guascan's Tobias Mero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Tauro in the 42nd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Nunez Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guascan! When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, Tambillos's Matias Rosalio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tobias Mero. Hernan Iratzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Denis Munio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hilario Gomesano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Feliciano Valiente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilario Gomesano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Tobias Mero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victoriano Beltza in the 75th minute. Guascan's Tobias Mero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Manny in the 80th minute of play. Tobias Mero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Tauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nunez Tauro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Mero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Nunez Tauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Tobias Mero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astor Tauro succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. In the 95th minute Feliciano Valiente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Gomesano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Bero struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Hilario Gomesano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guascan. In the 97th minute Feliciano Valiente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Gomesano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tambillos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
