In the 44th minute, Lázaro Frutos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venancio Laurendi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Godofredo Hanni made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Machado was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as V.Lynch's Benjamin Machado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serafin Eneko. That made the score 0-3 after 54 minutes of play. Ildefonso Gilabert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute Benjamin Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Eneko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafin Eneko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Frutos in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Mandrake's Uriel Goren got a free kick in the 74th minute. Serafin Eneko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Machado's shot from short distance in the 75th minute.
