In the 5th minute, Nunez Tauro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tambillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grana FC the free kick. In the 23rd play minute Astor Tauro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mauricio Garin. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Nunez Tauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauricio Garin was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Hilario Gomesano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Gartzen in the 29th minute of the match. After 34 minutes, Paulino Lico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grana FC and the Tambillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artemio Gartzen made a kick off. Tambillos's Astor Tauro got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 52nd minute, Pastor Lazcano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulino Lico was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Paulino Lico kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Matias Rosalio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mauricio Garin. Grana FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Grana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Tauro came free, but Mauricio Garin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Grana FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Pastor Lazcano hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astor Tauro in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauricio Garin saved Grana FC from getting behind. Grana FC's Mauricio Garin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Tauro in the 98th minute of play.
