To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvio Incendio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Godofredo Hanni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes V.Lynch got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Ihazintu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Cai in the 13th minute of play forced V.Lynch's goalkeeper Godofredo Hanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Tacuarendí's Elvio Incendio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godofredo Hanni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dante Koldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Machado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Edgardo Cai notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of V.Lynch's Godofredo Hanni. In the 94th minute, Froilan Geofredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Tacuarendí players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
