In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rumipal's goalkeeper Aurelio Aznaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Rumipal's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Idacio came free, but Aurelio Aznaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Matthew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Matias Matthew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Amador Idacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelio Aznaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Matthew's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19th match minute, At. Marcelonia Saudade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Kaxen to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Marcial Blanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Marcial Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Eguntsenti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of At. Marcelonia Saudade booed when Rumipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Theobald didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd match minute, At. Marcelonia Saudade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Bidun to maneuver through the defense. Matias Matthew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Aznaro having to interfere. Amador Idacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Amador Idacio managed to get in a good position for a shot. At. Marcelonia Saudade's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Idacio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Aznaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Amador Idacio made the kick off in the second half. At. Marcelonia Saudade's Nereo Eguntsenti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Blanco in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Hermengildo Rayman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumipal's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Rayman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Eguntsenti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Idacio in the 62nd minute of play forced Rumipal's goalkeeper Aurelio Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Matthew blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Aznaro having to make a save. Hermengildo Rayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Nereo Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Marcial Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rumipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Blanco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermengildo Rayman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Amador Idacio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aurelio Aznaro. That made the score 0-1 in the 85 minute of play. Aurelio Aznaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Matthew in the 91st minute. Marcial Blanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Matthew struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Aurelio Aznaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for At. Marcelonia Saudade. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched At. Marcelonia Saudade eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
