The audience was convinced that David Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albino Burni was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Belgrano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Macario came free, but Gogo Gurutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Belgrano FC's goalkeeper Gogo Gurutz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Aureo. Gogo Gurutz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anacleto Aureo in the 30th minute. If David Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Azevedo in the 37th minute of the match. Albino Burni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Azevedo in the 41st minute of play. David Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albino Burni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Gogo Gurutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Macario, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Martin Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Berserkers FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Flavio Llope hit a great ball. Teobaldo Kismi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Kismi got free with Albino Burni in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anacleto Aureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gogo Gurutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80thth minute of the game David Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berserkers FC's Albino Burni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Berserkers FC's Epifanio Manny got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Igor Petrigai got in the 83rd minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Albino Burni and thus it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Macario in the 87th minute of play forced Belgrano FC's goalkeeper Gogo Gurutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Teobaldo Kismi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Kismi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teobaldo Kismi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
