In the 18th match minute, Moncaliari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Bautista to maneuver through the defense. If Damian Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Araoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Brun in the 26th minute of the match. Edelmiro Fliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Valiente during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
