Anier Feo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Orlanda having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Israel Evangelista managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Porve's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Evangelista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Orlanda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, LocoSid's Epifanio Indartsu got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in LocoSid's zone, Israel Evangelista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Orlanda came out of the goal and Israel Evangelista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabricio Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 35 minutes into the match, LocoSid's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Evangelista came free, but Eriberto Orlanda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the El Porve defense, Uriel Cordaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Cilio. The El Porve fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Cilio should have stopped the shot. Uriel Cordaro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. LocoSid's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Fabricio Benet managed to get in a good position for a shot. LocoSid's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabricio Benet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Cilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute, Tomás Cisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 51 minutes had been played when some careless play by LocoSid's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arsenio Eutor was slow to take the kick. During this time El Porve's players had a chance to rest. Arsenio Eutor made a great header on El Porve's corner, it was just that LocoSid's Eriberto Orlanda managed to reach the ball for a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anier Feo to make the kick off. Cosme Cilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Benet, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 74th play minutes Uriel Cordaro shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Cosme Cilio and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the El Porve defense, Uriel Cordaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Cilio. The El Porve fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Cilio should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Anier Feo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, El Porve's Arsenio Eutor broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Benet in the 94th minute of play forced El Porve's goalkeeper Cosme Cilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
