In the 18th minute of the match, Jonatan Bermund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Santiago Francho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Miraflores's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Jonatan Bermund scored to the left of an out of position Santiago Francho, making the score, 1-1. Omar Cordarrel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Santiago Francho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Malvin hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Miraflores's Victorino Malvin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gervasio Prejun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matias Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gervasio Prejun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Matias Salvino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miraflores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Salvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miraflores's Santiago Francho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Miraflores from getting a goal against them. Santiago Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Abadie in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, Faustino Urbes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santiago Francho. Miraflores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustino Urbes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Miraflores's Santiago Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Urbes in the 55th minute of play. Anibal Tonio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Santiago Francho. Miraflores's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Edelmiro Totakoxe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miraflores's supporters rose to their feet, but Edelmiro Totakoxe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Prejun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santiago Francho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Abadie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Miraflores's Ernesto Jobo got a free kick in the 74th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Victorino Malvin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miraflores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viamonte the free kick. Victorino Malvin hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Jonatan Bermund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelmiro Totakoxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Prejun having to interfere. Gervasio Prejun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edelmiro Totakoxe in the 86th minute. When Jonatan Bermund came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Viamonte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Bermund couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Miraflores's Victorino Malvin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Santiago Francho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Bermund, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Miraflores players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Viamonte.
