Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amancio Chesus to make the kick off. Abel Veremundo hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Gogo Vincent had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Vistruario. Ambrosetti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gogo Vincent was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Honorio Romelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amancio Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Chesus might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Bizen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amancio Chesus ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Motobar United Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ambrosetti had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
