An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Abecia in the 20th minute of play forced Chalicán's goalkeeper Tadeusz Czaplicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Isaac Havier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chalicán's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Havier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Matia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Everardo Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Havier, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 31 minutes into the match, Chalicán's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Isias came free, but Tadeusz Czaplicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Santxol was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Guillermo Isias sped through Chalicán's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeusz Czaplicki. Chalicán's Tadeusz Czaplicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Abecia in the 63rd minute of play. After 72 played minutes Tilimuqui got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Galeno. In the 77th minute, Gerardo Santxol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The tension between the Tilimuqui and the Chalicán players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Tilimuqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Markel to maneuver through the defense. Markus Gustafsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Chalicán booed when Tilimuqui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Ihintza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chalicán's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
