Spectators: 7213 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Domingo Juvenal got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes of play, centralfc's Jacobo Romildo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Paublo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Tabby in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ghelfi FC defense, Jacobo Romildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Paublo. The Ghelfi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Paublo should have stopped the shot. Roque Tabby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ghelfi FC's Marcos Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Karmel in the 26th minute of play. Marcos Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Karmel, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Cosme Mirande fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored centralfc's protests and gave Cosme Mirande a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Juvenal in the 31st minute of play. If Domingo Juvenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Tabby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Pedro Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Darien's late challenge caught a centralfc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Darien helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Celso Darien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Gaston Elodio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Paublo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximiliano Azubeli to make the kick off. Marcos Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Azubeli in the 53rd minute of the match. Marcos Paublo was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Maximiliano Azubeli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maximiliano Azubeli really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Marcos Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Karmel, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Gilberto Costante scored 1-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Abalos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th match minute, Ghelfi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Beila to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ghelfi FC's Gilberto Costante got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Maximiliano Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. centralfc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Azubeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domingo Juvenal struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Pedro Abalos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ghelfi FC. Ghelfi FC were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after centralfc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gilberto Costante took the corner. Arsenio Sendoa tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Pedro Abalos. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-4 in the 89th minute. Domingo Juvenal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Pedro Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in centralfc's zone, Roque Tabby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Abalos came out of the goal and Roque Tabby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched centralfc eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
