Aristides Goizeder made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Maximo Dominix sent off a good shot on target. The referee ignored Islandia's protests and gave Federico Marques a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of cuervo.sl booed when Islandia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Deunoro in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermengildo Maidana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Cristo Deunoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristo Deunoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermengildo Maidana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristo Deunoro ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristo Deunoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Hermengildo Maidana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristides Goizeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Fidencio in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Fidencio in the 47th minute of play forced cuervo.sl's goalkeeper Aristides Goizeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismael Fidencio was the one to do the kick off. If Romulo Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 55th minute Ismael Fidencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Goizeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Dominix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Aristides Goizeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristides Goizeder came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Islandia's Maximo Dominix. But to his dismay, Maximo Dominix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Maximo Dominix scored 2-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristides Goizeder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in cuervo.sl's zone, Maximo Dominix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Goizeder came out of the goal and Maximo Dominix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Islandia's Maximo Dominix got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aristides Goizeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Fidencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Ismael Fidencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Aristides Goizeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Romulo Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Cristo Deunoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 90th minute of the match Ceferino Gabon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ceferino Gabon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ceferino Gabon hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Ruben Maties took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aristides Goizeder. cuervo.sl's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Islandia's Hermengildo Maidana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Islandia from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Islandia had won after a very even match.
