Narváez's Angelino Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Hernando in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Narváez's Remigio Gudesteo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Diego Geofredo. Diego Geofredo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Leocadio in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelino Txatxu saved Narváez from getting behind.
