AFALP's Domingo Che got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Cordeara in the 21st minute of play forced AFALP's goalkeeper Jonatan Koldobika to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes Manantiales FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Opilano. AFALP's Epifanio Palben shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Javier Alfonso but with some difficulty. Javier Alfonso made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Roman Gau sent off a good shot on target. If Hugo Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Koldobika made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Cordeara in the 31st minute of play. When Jonathan Guillelmus came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the AFALP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Guillelmus couldn't finish the play. Arsenio Cresconio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Alejo Arlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejo Arlo in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Alfonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimiro Cordeara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Roman Gau charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Manantiales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Ramirez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute Vladimiro Cordeara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Koldobika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manantiales FC's Hugo Ramirez got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejo Arlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Domingo Che's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Alfonso was relentless in the 81st minute of the game.
