The referee ignored AFALP's protests and gave Leonel Dalmai a yellow card for diving instead. 12 minutes into the game, one of AFALP:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 18th minute Alejo Arlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Perpinya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When AFALP's Alejo Arlo in 40 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Modesto Perpinya guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. AFALP's Alejo Arlo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonatan Koldobika made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Videl in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Rosario was the one to do the kick off. Modesto Perpinya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Arlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Raul Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Seineldín CF defense, Alejo Arlo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Perpinya. The Seineldín CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Perpinya should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingo Che in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modesto Perpinya saved Seineldín CF from getting behind. Alejo Arlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Perpinya having to interfere. 3-1 became the score in the 94th minute when Domingo Che elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. AFALP's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
