The Elisa F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bernabe Guib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Tiniebra having to interfere. The Epicúreos del Jardín fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Epicúreos del Jardín's Santo Lawrence looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Elisa F.C's Bernabe Guib got a free kick in the 26th minute. Raimundo Lauren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jeremias Tiniebra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epicúreos del Jardín's Silvio Leoiar got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Lawrence in the 41st minute of play forced Elisa F.C's goalkeeper Cirilo Nofre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santo Lawrence to strike the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Lauren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremias Tiniebra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Lauren, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Ceferino Maureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jeremias Tiniebra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Santo Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Maureo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Jeremias Tiniebra made a huge save. Ceferino Maureo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jeremias Tiniebra came out and tried to block the shot, but Ceferino Maureo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante Chaime during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Epicúreos del Jardín got a freekick which was hit by Dante Chaime. Santo Lawrence's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cirilo Nofre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Baldomero Pietro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Epicúreos del Jardín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Pietro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santo Lawrence's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cirilo Nofre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Ceferino Maureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jeremias Tiniebra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Epicúreos del Jardín's zone, Raimundo Lauren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Tiniebra came out of the goal and Raimundo Lauren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elisa F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
