The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Acosta got free with Javier Alfonso in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manantiales FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Astor Banegas scored to the left of an out of position Javier Alfonso, making the score, 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Manantiales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Banegas came free, but Javier Alfonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Alfonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Austin in the 10th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Manantiales FC defense, Sergio Maureo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier Alfonso. The Manantiales FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Alfonso should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Silencioso booed when Manantiales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Porfiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Manantiales FC defense, Astor Banegas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier Alfonso. The Manantiales FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Alfonso should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Banegas in the 22nd minute of play forced Manantiales FC's goalkeeper Javier Alfonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascual Acosta scored 4-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Alfonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 27 minutes, Vladimiro Cordeara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manantiales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimiro Cordeara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Astor Banegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Alfonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Bittor in the 30th minute of play. Javier Alfonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Acosta in the 33rd minute. After 36 played minutes Silencioso got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Maureo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Banegas in the 41st minute of play forced Manantiales FC's goalkeeper Javier Alfonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Manantiales FC's Rolando Opilano got a free kick in the 44th minute. Simon Boniel made in the 47th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rolando Opilano however managed to control. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Javier Alfonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Banegas in the 53rd minute of play. Manantiales FC's Javier Alfonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Banegas in the 54th minute of play. Astor Banegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Javier Alfonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 minutes Manantiales FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Astor Banegas who took care of the corner kick. Fernan Edur kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Manantiales FC's Javier Alfonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Maureo in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Pascual Acosta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Alfonso was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascual Acosta in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Alfonso saved Manantiales FC from getting behind. When Pascual Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Silencioso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Acosta couldn't finish the play. Manantiales FC's Javier Alfonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Acosta in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Manantiales FC's zone, Sergio Maureo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Alfonso came out of the goal and Sergio Maureo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Esteban Austin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Alfonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Maureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Javier Alfonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascual Acosta scored 6-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Alfonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sergio Maureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
