When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santo Lawrence made a kick off. Epicúreos del Jardín's Baldomero Pietro got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Epicúreos del Jardín fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Epicúreos del Jardín's Baldomero Pietro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Wilfredo Confesor sped through Epicúreos del Jardín's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeremias Tiniebra. 92 minutes into the match, Epicúreos del Jardín's Santo Lawrence sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Lizar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Pietro got free with Sergio Lizar in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Epicúreos del Jardín were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
