The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roman Quinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Furman having to interfere. Valentin Theobald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Mendez in the 7th minute. Marcelino Toribio kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Valentin Theobald stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Chepe's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. If Ignacio Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teo Vincent kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Tambillo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Federico Chepe 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Ezequiel Donostia hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match Tambillo got a corner. Makallé's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gogo Iraunkor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tambillo's Gogo Iraunkor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodolfo Furman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Gogo Iraunkor fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tambillo's protests and gave Gogo Iraunkor a yellow card for diving instead. Gogo Iraunkor kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Fernando Senon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Makallé booed when Tambillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Toribio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Federico Chepe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Fernando Senon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ignacio Mendez came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Makallé fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Mendez couldn't finish the play. After 54 minutes of play Tambillo's Gogo Iraunkor was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 54th match minute, Tambillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Iraunkor to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Federico Chepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Makallé's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Chepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Theobald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Federico Chepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Federico Chepe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentin Theobald was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Makallé's Rodolfo Furman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Makallé from getting a goal against them. Roman Quinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Rodolfo Furman made a huge save. After having played for 72 minutes, Ignacio Mendez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Makallé's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Mendez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Chepe in the 77th minute of play forced Tambillo's goalkeeper Valentin Theobald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Makallé's Federico Chepe in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tambillo's goalie prevented a goal. Rodolfo Furman came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tambillo's Roman Quinto. But to his dismay, Roman Quinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Valentin Theobald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mendez in the 89th minute of the match. Tomas Asier charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Asier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tambillo getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Tomas Asier hit a great ball. Ignacio Mendez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Theobald read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play.
