In the 19th minute Gogo Lohitzun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Jurgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Eriz made a kick off. Fidel Kepa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Harriet in the 52nd minute of the match. Gogo Lohitzun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Julio Ondino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Kepa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio Ondino in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Kepa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cleto Harriet might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Kepa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cleto Harriet ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Ondino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
